Employee Social Styles

EMPLOYEES' SOCIAL STYLES

Social Styles Assessment

TRACOM’s SOCIAL STYLE programme assesses your interpersonal style and versatility, ultimately allowing you to take steps to improve both your professional relationships and workplace performance.

It's an ideal tool for increasing leadership performance, developing coaching skills, increasing sales, building relationships, working in teams AND enhancing communications.

Moreover, the social styles assessment is especially useful for helping you to 'know' your audience, and here at Experience UK, we use this survey to ascertain the best fit of training exercises for individuals.

What's wonderful is that during training, we can use findings of this survey to help you discover that rather than there being one 'best style' to communication, 75% of people in the world (including our clients) have different styles and approaches to you! We can then work together to explore how you may best communicate with other people, armed with this new information.

Why is understanding others' social styles so important?

Of the three elements of social intelligence, your SOCIAL STYLE, (often known as your behavioural style), is the easiest for others to assess. They may not see your emotional intelligence or your mindset, but they can tell if you are animated, rushed or sulking. In short, they can witness and make assumptions based on your behaviour.

Moreover, the way you behave has a direct impact on your interactions with others and upon your success in the workplace.

We’re all judged on our behaviours.

Each of the four styles displays positive and negative characteristics when in relationship with others, meaning that none are 'right' or 'wrong'. Interestingly, research shows that people of any SOCIAL STYLE can be successful in any profession.

Knowing this, people often wonder, if someone’s social style isn't right or wrong, what is the point of studying these behavioural preferences in the first place? It's a good point. What we know from decades of experience is that the Social Style Model teaches people to identify the preferences of others and modify behaviour so that they can help make others more comfortable. The ability to do this is known as Versatility, and it's a character trait that is strongly linked to career and business success.

As certified facilitators of the TRACOM SOCIAL STYLE assessment, Experience UK resultants can use the results with participants during the training. The program assesses your style and your Versatility, allowing you to take steps to improve your relationships and performance.

Taking these steps is especially important for increasing leadership performance, developing coaching skills, increasing sales, building relationships, working in teams and enhancing communications.
